KOLR

STATION PROFILE

Mission Broadcasting acquired KOLR as part of the Quorum Broadcasting acquisition in late 2003. KOLR operates under various local agreements with Nexstar Broadcasting station KSFX. Both stations operate under a Joint Sales Agreement, and have grown revenue share by integrating Nexstar sales systems and inventory management. The station’s syndicated programming includes Entertainment Tonight, Judge Judy, People’s Court and Two and a Half Men. Both KOLR and KSFX will benefit from regular strategic planning meetings with our existing stations in Missouri. We expect to grow news viewership and revenue due to our emphasis on local news and weather coverage. KOLR has expanded its news production since the combining of services with KSFX and now carries over 21 hours per week of news programming. KOLR has a digital Satellite truck allowing for expanded news coverage of breaking news in our large 31 county DMA. KOLR now only broadcasts a digital signal to its coverage area.
