STATION PROFILE

WFXP/FOX 66 was acquired by Mission Broadcasting in 1998. Later that year the station entered into a time brokerage agreement with Nexstar Broadcasting station WJET. Both stations have improved their revenue share by focusing on top notch customer service and sales projects. FOX 66 broadcasts the Erie regions only local primetime newscast at 10PM by utilizing existing WJET assets and personnel. In January 2010 the 10PM News expanded to an hour Monday thru Sunday. In the fall of 2007 the station added an additional newscast weekdays from 8-9AM. The station's syndicated programming includes The Office, The Insider, The Simpsons, Friends, Seinfeld and King of the Hill.  FOX 66 debuted the markets first ever HD Digital Broadcast signal in December 2007.
