STATION PROFILE Nexstar acquired WTWO, an NBC affiliate, in April 1997. Following significant investment in local news gathering, and the addition of live Doppler radar, WTWO significantly improved viewership of its local newscasts. WTWO also owns the television rights for Indiana State University football and basketball. In 2003, WTWO entered in various agreements with Mission Broadcasting station WBAK, also located in Terre Haute. As a result, both stations have significantly improved their operating efficiencies. WTWO’s syndicated programming includes Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and Dr Phil.
