Mission Broadcasting acquired KOLR, a CBS affiliate as part of the VHR Broadcasting acquisition in late 2003. KOLR operates under various local agreements with Nexstar Media Inc.  stations KOZL and KRBK. All three stations have grown revenue share by integrating Nexstar sales systems and inventory management. The station’s syndicated programming includes Entertainment Tonight and Judge Judy. KOLR, KOZL, and KRBK benefit from regular strategic planning with Nexstar’s other stations in Missouri. KOLR has expanded its news production since the combining of services with KOZL and now carries over 20 hours per week of news programming. It also produces the daily lifestyle/entertainment program Ozarks Live!  KOLR produces news coverage of breaking news in our large 31 county DMA.
