WGMB

Station Profile

WGMB-TV is the youngest station in the Baton Rouge market, signing on August 11, 1991. It’s sister stations are NBC affiliate, WVLA; and CW affiliate, WBRL. WGMB aired its first newscast in March 2007 and with it provided the first and only 9pm newscast in the city. This has positioned us as a news of convenience in the market compared to other later newscasts. By airing NASCAR, MLB, College Football and NFL, including most of the New Orleans Saints games each season, WGMB has become the go to station for sports fans in Baton Rouge. We also have a very community oriented news team that contributes their time and talents to various organizations throughout the year.

WGMB’s syndicated programming includes Mike and Molly, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family and Are We There Yet?.
