David Rotem is the Executive Vice President of Advertising Sales and Marketing for NewsNation, Antenna TV and Rewind TV. Prior to that, he was the Executive Vice President of Ad Sales and Marketing for WGN America. He worked for 12 years at Tribune Broadcasting, starting in 2009 until the Nexstar acquisition in 2019.
Mr. Rotem worked at the Walt Disney Company (1994-2009) where he was the Senior Vice President of Multimedia Ad Sales of ESPN, which included linear, digital, print, radio, syndication (2004-2009). Prior to that, he was the Executive Vice President of Multimedia Ad Sales at ESPN/ABC Sports Customer Marketing and Sales (2000-2004). This included oversight of all ESPN/ABC Sports properties. Mr. Rotem worked directly with the professional sports leagues and governing bodies. His responsibilities included sales and marketing sponsorship opportunities and rights negotiations.
Mr. Rotem was the Vice President of Ad Sales for ABC News (1997-1999) which included the assets World News Tonight, Nightline, GMA, This Week, 20/20 and Politically Incorrect, working closely with programming, production, finance, marketing, research and the ABC Owned and Operated television stations.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Rotem was an Account Executive and sold for ABC Sports (1994-1997), the CBS Television Network (1987-1994); CBS Sports, CBS News, CBS Late Night, as well as the CBS Owned and Operated television stations (1984-1987). Prior to that, he was an Account Executive at MMT Sales, Inc. (1981-1984), a television rep firm.
Mr. Rotem holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Rutgers University. He and his wife, Leslie, have two children.
