Nexstar Media Charitable Foundation Donates $5,000 To Abbott House in Rapid City, SD
Irving, TX and Rapid City, SD (December 9, 2025) – The Nexstar Media Charitable Foundation and KCLO-TV, the Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXST) television station serving Rapid City, SD, and the surrounding area, today announced that the Foundation will donate $5,000 to Abbott House.
Abbott House has devoted over 80 years to providing residential treatment, therapeutic foster care, and independent living services to thousands of children who have experienced trauma, abuse, and neglect. Their services span Mitchell, Rapid City, and Sioux Falls and provide youth with a safe, nurturing environment where they can overcome hardships and succeed in life.

“KCLO has featured Abbott House on multiple news stories. The work they do to help the youth and families in the Rapid City area has been incredible,” said Mari Ossenfort, Vice President and General Manager of KCLO-TV. “Giving back to the communities served by Nexstar in 116 markets across the country is one of the company’s core principles and we are grateful that the Nexstar Media Charitable Foundation can make this donation in recognition of the deep relationship between KCLO and Abbott House.”
The Nexstar Media Charitable Foundation’s mission is to contribute to and work with public charities and non-profit organizations to improve the communities in which Nexstar Media and its subsidiaries do business.
