Debate Night Iowa: Ashley Hinson and Josh Turek Debate in U.S. Senate Race
Iowans heard from two of the candidates vying to represent them in the U.S. Senate during Debate Night Iowa, hosted by WHO 13. The debate between Republican Ashley Hinson and Democrat Josh Turek was civil but did contain some heated moments when the topic of Turek’s absences from the Iowa legislature and Hinson’s private stock ownership were brought up.

KRQE Hosts Live Debate for 2nd Congressional District Candidates
KRQE News 13 is hosting a live televised debate with the candidates running in the 2nd Congressional District race on Friday, October 16. The debate will start at 5 p.m. on KRQE, KRQE’s YouTube, KRQE.com and the KRQE NOW app, where we’ll hear from Incumbent Gabriel Vasquez (D) and Greg Cunningham (R). Before the debate, there will be a pre-show special at 4:30 p.m. exclusively on the KRQE NOW app and YouTube. Then, following the debate, KRQE will host a special edition of the New Mexico Political Pulse hosted by Jessica Barron. This will be exclusive on KRQE Xtra, KRQE Now app, KRQE.com, and YouTube.

How to Watch WPRI 12’s Rhode Island Governor Debate
The race for Rhode Island governor will soon take center stage in a primetime debate hosted by 12 News. Democrat Helena Foulkes, Republican Aaron Guckian and Independent Ken Block will square off inside Roberts Hall Auditorium at Rhode Island College on Tuesday, Oct. 20 — exactly two weeks before the Nov. 3 general election. The one-hour debate, moderated by Target 12 Chief Investigative Reporter Tim White and 12 News Politics Editor Ted Nesi, begins at 7 p.m.

WATCH: New York’s 24th Congressional District Debate
The candidates in New York’s 24th Congressional District will face off in a News 8 debate. Incumbent Republican Claudia Tenney is being challenged by Alissa Ellman, who won the Democratic Primary in June. The debate will be televised on WROC and live streamed on RochesterFirst Tuesday, October 20 at 7 p.m.

Incumbent Richard Neal will face independent challenger Nadia Milleron in a congressional debate at 22News. Weeks away from the November election, 22News will host a debate between the candidates running to represent Massachusetts’ First Congressional District.

El-Sayed, Rogers Offer Insults, Answers at US Senate Debate
As they met for their first debate on Thursday, Oct. 8, Abdul El-Sayed and Mike Rogers seemed to spend as much time trading insults as they did answering questions about what they would do if elected to represent Michigan in the U.S. Senate. Without any opening statements, the hourlong debate at WOOD TV8 in Grand Rapids jumped directly into the issues with News 8 moderator Rick Albin asking about the price of gas. El-Sayed, a Democrat and former public health official from Ann Arbor, and Rogers, a Republican and former U.S. representative from St. Joseph, both came out swinging.

Incumbent Democratic Congressman Seth Magaziner and Republican challenger Vic Mellor clashed in their first televised debate in the WPRI 12 studios. The candidates disagreed on a wide range of topics, from immigration to energy, foreign policy and the January 6th insurrection.
