Upcoming 22News Debate Features Richard Neal and Primary Challenger Jeromie Whalen
Congressman Richard Neal will debate his democratic primary challenger Jeromie Whalen at the 22News studios. Neal is seeking a 19th term representing the First Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Whalen is a high school teacher and western Massachusetts resident making his first bid for Congress. The candidates will debate live in the 22News studios on Wednesday, August 26 from 12:30 to 1 p.m. The debate will then be rebroadcast at 7 p.m. Patrick Berry, host of 22News InFocus, will moderate.

PIX11 News To Host NY-17 Debate with Candidates Mike Lawler and Cait Conley
PIX11 is set to host a live debate featuring the candidates in one of the most closely watched congressional races this midterm season in both New York State and the entire country: New York’s 17th Congressional District. The debate will include GOP incumbent Representative Mike Lawler as he fights to hold onto his seat and Democratic challenger Cait Conley, a U.S. Army combat veteran and former national security official who looks to represent the Hudson Valley in Washington, D.C.

RI Attorney General Candidates Square Off in 12 News Debate
12 News hosted a live debate between the four Democratic primary candidates for Rhode Island attorney general. It was an opportunity for those candidates – former R.I. Cannabis Control Commission Chair Kim Ahern, former Assistant Attorney General Keith Hoffmann, Barrington state Representative Jason Knight and Warwick state Representative Joe Solomon Jr. – to essentially introduce themselves to voters, as none of them have statewide name recognition ahead of the September 9 primary.

On Tuesday, August 11, four Democratic candidates for Rhode Island attorney general will take part in a live, televised debate moderated by Target 12 Chief Investigative Reporter Tim White and 12 News Politics Editor Ted Nesi. The debate between Kim Ahern, Keith Hoffmann, Jason Knight and Joe Solomon Jr. will be held at the Roger Williams University School of Law campus, and you can watch it live at 7 p.m. on FOX Providence and the WPRI 12+ TV app.

Langworthy, Gies To Debate Live on WETM-TV and WETM+
U.S. Representative Nick Langworthy, a Republican who represents New York District 23 in Congress, and Mr. Aaron Gies, a college professor who won the Democratic Party’s nomination in the June 23 primary election, have agreed to a debate that will be carried live on WETM-TV, WETM+, and on MyTwinTiers.com. They are both candidates in the general election. The debate is set for Tuesday, October 6. It will run from 7 to 8 p.m. It will be held at the WETM News Studio in Elmira.

Republican candidates hoping to become South Carolina’s next U.S. senator are preparing for a statewide televised debate just days before early voting begins in the special primary election. News 2 and Nexstar will host the live, one-hour debate on Tuesday, August 4, at 7 p.m. from the studio in Mount Pleasant near Charleston.
