** Beware of recruitment scams **
Please be aware candidates may be at risk of being targeted by scammers seeking personal data or money. Recruiters with Nexstar Media Group and its local stations will only contact you through official job boards, LinkedIn, or e-mail with Nexstar.tv domain or official station e-mail addresses (example: @wreg.com). Be cautious of any outreach claiming to be from Nexstar or its recruiters via any other messaging platforms or personal e-mail addresses. We will not contact you using a @gmail e-mail address. If you are unsure about the authenticity of a job inquiry or offer, email us at corporaterecruiters@nexstar.tv.

Nexstar will never:

- conduct an interview via text message or through a messaging app
- ask you for money or to share your bank information or other personal information during the hiring process
- ask you to send us money or equipment, or to make purchases from your personal account for technology or training equipment as a condition of employment
If you believe you are a victim of a recruitment scam:

- report it to the FBI’s Internet Crime unit
- alert the particular job boards involved
- email us information about their situation so we can use it to report it to the FBI ourselves
