NewsNation’s “Dan Abrams Live” Will Move To 9 P.M. ET

“NewsNation PRIME” Will Move to 8 p.m. ET

CHICAGO, February 25, 2022 – NewsNation, America’s source for unbiased news, where engaged citizens get news that represents the full range of perspectives across the country, today announced that “Dan Abrams Live,” hosted by award-winning journalist Dan Abrams, will move to 9 p.m. ET, effective February 28. “NewsNation PRIME”, the country’s only live national prime-time newscast, will move to 8 p.m. ET on the same date.

“Moving to 9 p.m. ET will expose Dan and his show to millions of new viewers at a time when the cable news landscape is going through a lot of transition, with a number of schedule changes and anchor realignment underway,” said Michael Corn, President of News for NewsNation. “We also believe that ‘NewsNation PRIME,’ with its team of experienced reporters and their ability to highlight the day’s big stories, is the perfect fit as the lead-in to Dan’s show.”

NewsNation is a national cable news and entertainment network reaching 75 million television households across the United States. In addition to anchoring “Dan Abrams Live,” Mr. Abrams is a media entrepreneur, television host, legal affairs analyst, and author. In the past several weeks, Mr. Abrams has spoken exclusively with a number of important newsmakers on “Dan Abrams Live,” including Rita Glavin, the attorney for Andrew Cuomo, and Stormy Daniels, following the conviction of her former attorney, Michael Avenatti.

Anchored by Marni Hughes, an award-winning journalist with more than 20 years of experience in broadcast news, “NewsNation PRIME” is the home for breaking and developing stories around the country, and the real people impacted by them. Earlier this year, the newscast launched “The Missing,” a special weekly segment focusing on individuals reported missing by family members and friends. The series has covered more than 30 underreported cases of missing people around the country. Since its launch, eight families have received closure. Three families found missing loved ones alive, with one of the discoveries attributed to a viewer seeing a “NewsNation PRIME” report.
