Nexstar Media Charitable Foundation and KFDX-TV 3 Donate $10,000 to the Hands To Hands Community Fund of Wichita Falls, TX
IRVING, TX (July 30, 2020) – The Nexstar Media Charitable Foundation announced today it will donate $10,000 to the Hands to Hands Community Fund of Wichita Falls, TX, on behalf of KFDX-TV 3, the Nexstar Broadcasting television station serving the Wichita Falls area (DMA #147). Hands to Hands was founded ten years ago by a group of concerned community leaders who wanted to help support the programs and services of eight local non-profit organizations.
Hands to Hands is committed to helping its member non-profit organizations continue to fulfill their various missions. These organizations feed the elderly, watch over neglected and abused children, care for children and adults with developmental disabilities, provide shelter for children living in harm’s way, and grow and develop tomorrow’s community leaders. Member organizations include The Arc of Wichita County, the Boy Scouts, The Boys and Girls Club of Burkburnett, Camp Fire, Child Advocates (CASA), The Children’s Aid Society of West Texas, Friendly Door Senior Center of Iowa Park, and Straight Street.
Hands to Hands is a totally donor-directed fund; 100 percent of all donations go to the non-profit organization selected by the donor.

The Nexstar Media Charitable Foundation’s mission is to contribute to and work with public charities and non-profit organizations to improve the communities in which Nexstar Media and its subsidiaries do business. The foundation was originally established in 1958 and it makes donations of approximately $350,000 annually.
