Nexstar TV Stations To Broadcast 1991 Bills-Raiders AFC Championship Game Across New York And Pennsylvania During Holidays

Nexstar Broadcast Will Spotlight Special Moments of 1990 Season, Interview with Jim Kelly;
Buffalo, Albany, Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton, Utica, Watertown, Elmira, NY and Erie, PA, Will Carry Classic Game Beginning Dec. 25

IRVING, TX and Buffalo, NY (Dec. 23, 2019)—As the Buffalo Bills and their fans get ready for the 2019 NFL playoffs, Nexstar Broadcasting, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXST), announced today that all eight of its television stations across the state of New York, as well as its television station in Erie, PA, will rebroadcast the epic 1991 AFC Championship game between the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Raiders during the holidays.

The telecast will include special moments from the 1990 regular season and an in-depth interview with former Bills quarterback, Jim Kelly.  A member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Kelly spent 11 seasons with the Bills, guiding them to four straight appearances in the Super Bowl.  The broadcasts begin the evening of Christmas Day and conclude on Dec. 28.  The game, won by the Bills 51-3, sent the team on to the first of four straight appearances in the Super Bowl.

Every Bills fan knows where they were on Jan. 20, 1991, and now all of them can relive the magic again from home.  Led by WIVB-TV in Buffalo (DMA #52), nine stations across New York and Pennsylvania, including WXXA-TV/Albany, WROC-TV/Rochester, WSYR-TV/Syracuse, WIVT-TV/Binghamton, WPNY-TV/Utica, WETM-TV/Elmira, WWTI-TV/Watertown, and WFXP-TV/Erie, PA, will take fans back to sold-out Rich Stadium to watch the Raiders and the Bills battle for the right to head to Super Bowl XXV.  Viewers will see every Jim Kelly pass, Andre Reed catch, and Thurman Thomas run one more time.

WETM-TV, Elmira, NY
WWTI-TV, Watertown, NY

WIVT-TV, Binghamton, NY, will rebroadcast the game at 3:30 pm ET on Dec. 28.
