WUTR-TV (ABC), WSYR-TV (ABC) And WBGH-TV (NBC) Partner to Bring Central New York and Greater Binghamton Voters Live Coverage of The Final Televised 22nd Congressional District Debate
UTICA, SYRACUSE and BINGHAMTON New York – WUTR-TV, the ABC affiliate serving the Utica DMA (#171); WSYR-TV, the ABC affiliate serving the Syracuse DMA (#85) and WBGH-TV; the NBC affiliate service the Binghamton DMA (#160), announced today that they are partnering to host the final televised debate between candidates for U.S. Representative of New York’s 22nd Congressional District on Monday, November 7, 2016 beginning at 7:00 p.m. EST. Candidates Claudia Tenney (Republican), Kim Myers (Democrat), and Martin Babinec (Reform) are competing for the seat that will be left vacant by U.S. Representative Richard Hanna (R-NY22), who is retiring after six years of public service.
The one-hour debate is scheduled to take place at Mohawk Valley Community College (1101 Sherman Dr, Utica, NY 13501). The debate will be moderated by Mike Hoey, WUTR Eyewitness News Anchor; Dan Cummings, WSYR Anchor and “Newsmakers with Dan Cummings” Host; and Jim Ehmke, WBGH News Director and Anchor. This must-see event will air across Central New York via live television broadcast on WUTR-TV (ABC Utica), WSYR-2 (MeTV Syracuse), and WBGH-TV (NBC Binghamton) on November 7 at 7:00 p.m. EST.
