Nexstar Media Foundation Announces Honorees for Day Six of “30 Days of Giving” Initiative
Kenzi’s Causes and Lanakila Pacific Named as Recipients of $5,000 Grants
Irving, TX (June 6, 2026) – Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXST), today announced that the Nexstar Media Charitable Foundation is making a $5,000 contribution to both Kenzi’s Causes and Lanakila Pacific as part of the company’s “30 Days of Giving” initiative, a month-long program recognizing and supporting nonprofit and charitable organizations serving communities across Nexstar’s nationwide footprint.
“30 Days of Giving” is an employee‑driven initiative created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Nexstar’s founding in June 1996. Locally-led committees reviewed submissions from Nexstar’s 13,000 employees and selected charitable and nonprofit organizations to nominate for grants. More than 100 organizations were nominated, and the Nexstar Charitable Foundation’s Board of Directors chose 60 to receive $5,000 each. Every day during the month of June, the Foundation will award two $5,000 grants; by the end of the month the Foundation will have committed $300,000 to “30 Days of Giving.”
The Foundation today recognized Kenzi’s Causes and Lanakila Pacific as recipients of $5,000 grants. The organizations were nominated by employees at KDVR/KWGN-TV and KHON-TV, the Nexstar television stations serving Denver, CO, and Honolulu, HI, respectively.
Kenzi’s Causes is a Colorado nonprofit dedicated to supporting low-income children and families with the tools and resources they need to thrive. Founded in 2007 by Jessica Bachus after the death of her daughter, Kenzi, the organization began by providing Christmas gifts to children in need. What started as a small act of kindness has grown into a statewide effort, distributing more than 100,000 toys, school supplies, books, and essentials.

Lanakila Pacific believes that when individuals are empowered to realize their potential, independence and growth become possible. Through life skills, job training, employment support, and meal delivery, Lanakila Pacific helps people with disabilities and seniors build self-sufficient, fulfilling lives.
The family of programs and social enterprises run by Lanakila Pacific includes Kupuna Wellness, which supports seniors through free classes that blend exercise, games, excursions, and shared nutritious meals, and its Teaching & Learning Centers, where adults with cognitive, social, or physical disabilities build essential life and social skills and engage in community activities that strengthen independence and inclusion.
