Nexstar Media Foundation Announces Honorees for Day Two of “30 Days of Giving” Initiative

Isaiah 117 House and Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association Named as Recipients of $5,000 Grants

Irving, TX (June 2, 2026) – Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXST), today announced that the Nexstar Media Charitable Foundation is making a $5,000 contribution to both Isaiah 117 House and Alzheimer’s Association Capital of Texas Chapter as part of the company’s “30 Days of Giving” initiative, a month-long program recognizing and supporting nonprofit and charitable organizations serving communities across Nexstar’s nationwide footprint.

“30 Days of Giving” is an employee‑driven initiative created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Nexstar’s founding in June 1996. Locally-led committees reviewed submissions from Nexstar’s 13,000 employees and selected charitable and nonprofit organizations to nominate for grants. More than 100 organizations were nominated, and the Nexstar Charitable Foundation’s Board of Directors chose 60 to receive $5,000 each. Every day during the month of June, the Foundation will award two $5,000 grants; by the end of the month the Foundation will have committed $300,000 to “30 Days of Giving.”

The Foundation today recognized Isaiah 117 House and Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association as recipients of $5,000 grants. Employees at WTWO-TV, the Nexstar television station serving Terre Haute, IN, and Fox 44, KWKT/KYLE-TV in Waco/Temple/Bryan, TX, nominated the organizations.

Isaiah 117 House in Knox County, IN, provides physical and emotional support for children who are removed from their homes for safety concerns. While child welfare staff focus on paperwork and finding the right placement, volunteers help with clean clothes, comforting blankets, toys, and smiles in a warm, safe home.

“WTWO chose Isaiah 117 House as our ’30 Days of Giving’ submission because every child deserves to be provided and cared for during difficult times,” said Tim Sanders, Vice President and General Manager of WTWO in Terre Haute, IN. “Supporting the children of the Wabash Valley means so much to our station, and we’re proud to help make a positive difference in our community.”

Employee nominator and WTWO Local Sales Manager, Cathlene Snyder said, “Isaiah 117 House regularly shares needs from the community to help make their house feel more comforting for children entering foster care. I cannot imagine what these children are thinking or feeling in those moments. We have an organization in our community working to make even one night feel safer and more comforting, and I believe that is something we should all rally behind.”

The Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Alzheimer’s disease is a degenerative brain disease. Today, more than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. By 2050, the number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million.

The Alzheimer’s Association Capital of Texas Chapter, located in southwest Austin, supports diagnosed individuals, their families and caregivers, and the professionals who care for them. They offer support groups, educational programs, individualized planning provided by master’s-level clinicians, and community resource lists.

“Fox 44 was thrilled to learn that our local Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association is receiving a ‘30 Days of Giving’ grant from the Nexstar Charitable Foundation,” said Mike Lee, Vice President and General Manager of Fox 44, KWKT/KYLE-TV in Waco/Temple/Bryan, TX. “Many of our families at Fox 44, mine included, have lost loved ones to Alzheimer’s, so we know first-hand how important it is to find a cure.”

Commenting on the grant, Tiffany Koslovsky, Community Manager at Alzheimer’s Association said: “We are deeply honored to be selected by Nexstar as KWKT FOX 44’s nonprofit partner and grateful for this generous support through Nexstar’s ‘30 Days of Giving.’ This $5,000 grant will directly support local education, essential care and support programs for families in Waco and Bell County, while also advancing research.  Together, we are moving closer to our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s.”
