Virginia’s Health Equity Task Force and Working Group Address Community Questions Regarding the State Response to the Coronavirus Outbreak

(Nasdaq: NXST), announced today that it will host an exclusive livestream of a virtual town hall meeting, “COVID-19 & Health Equity in Virginia: You Ask, We Answer,” featuring panelists from the Virginia Health Equity Working Group on Thursday, May 21st, at 7 p.m. ET.
The one-hour virtual town hall will be produced at the 8news studio at WRIC-TV in Richmond, VA, and livestreamed on the websites and mobile applications of Nexstar’s television stations serving the Commonwealth, including WRIC-TV in Richmond, WAVY-TV in Norfolk, WFXR in Roanoke, WJHL-TV in Tri-Cities, TN, WDVM-TV in Hagerstown, MD and WDCW-TV in Washington, D.C. The Health Equity Working Group is an innovative coalition embedded at the senior-level of Virginia’s unified command structure for the COVID-19 public health crisis, working to apply a health equity lens to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s COVID-19 response.
