Mission Broadcasting purchased KGBT- TV an Independent, from Sinclair Broadcasting on May 27, 2021. Throughout its 60 year+ history, KGBT-TV Channel 4 has always held a strong commitment to the communities it serves throughout the Harlingen, Weslaco, Brownsville, McAllen DMA. Today, through Mission Broadcasting, that commitment is stronger than ever, including servicing the viewers with the best possible programming and Community Affairs information available.

KGBT-TV’s digital channels include Estella, Grit and Mystery and popular syndicated programming to be announced. KGBT-TV is owned by Mission Broadcasting, Inc. and operates under various local service agreements with Nexstar Media Inc.
