KARD, a Fox affiliate, was acquired by Nexstar Broadcasting as part of the Quorum Broadcasting acquisition in late 2003. KARD is operated in cooperation with Mission Broadcasting’s KTVE, an NBC affiliate also located in West Monroe that was purchased from Piedmont Television in December 2007. KARD has consistently delivered improved revenue and operating profits. KARD’s syndicated programming includes Family Feud, The People’s Court, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, and The Real. KARD also broadcasts news weekdays at 5:30pm & 9-10pm, as well as a lifestyle show called “Louisiana Living” weekdays at 4:30pm.
