KOZL

Station Profile

Nexstar acquired KOZL in late 2003 as part of our acquisition of Quorum Broadcasting. KOZL Z27 and KRBK, the FOX station Nexstar purchased in November 2018, operate under various local agreements, including a Joint Sales Agreement, with Mission Broadcasting station KOLR.  They have grown revenue share by integrating Nexstar sales systems and inventory management.

In September 2014, KOZL Z27 became a MyNetworkTV affiliate. KOZL is also home to Missouri State Bears Men’s and Ladies’ Basketball and Preseason Kansas City Chiefs. Syndicated programming includes classic sitcoms Two and a Half Men, Seinfeld, and Friends.  Locally-produced programming includes, Branson Country U.S.A. and Larry’s Country Diner. KOZL, KRBK, and KOLR benefit from regular strategic planning with our existing stations in Missouri and maximize regional news content opportunities from sister stations within our region. Z27 covers a large 31 county area.

KOZL Z27’s digital subchannels are Court TV Mystery, Bounce, and Rewind TV.
