KSAN D.3
Station Profile
Mission Broadcasting acquired KACB, an NBC affiliate, from LIN Television on June 13, 2003. The station call letters were changed from KACB to KSAN. This is more reflective of our commitment to localism for San Angelo and the entire Concho Valley. Mission entered into joint sales and shared services agreements with Nexstar Broadcasting station KLST to provide non-programming services. KSAN’s syndicated programming includes Rachael Ray, Martha Stewart and Entertainment Tonight. The station has increased the size of the local sales staff and has implemented Nexstar’s sales systems and inventory management techniques. Mission and Nexstar improved the news operations of the station through strategic capital investment, the addition of a dedicated meteorologist, and new weather equipment.
