Station Profile

WEHT is the ABC affiliate television station for the Tri-State area of Southwest Indiana, Northwestern Kentucky and Southeastern Illinois. WEHT was the first television station in the Tri-State area signing on in September 1953. In September 2007 WEHT was the first station to debut an early afternoon newscast with a thirty minute broadcast at 4:30pm. Today WEHT airs weekly local newscasts at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm. WEHT operates an Owensboro News Bureau and operates its own Doppler weather radar across the street from its Henderson location. WEHT syndicated programming includes Live with Regis and Kelly, Rachel Ray and Who wants to be A Millionaire.
