WFXP/FOX 66 was acquired by Mission Broadcasting in 1998 and operates under a time brokerage agreement with Nexstar Broadcasting station WJET. FOX 66 broadcasts the Erie regions only local primetime newscast at 10PM. In January 2010 the 10PM News expanded to an hour Monday through Sunday. In the fall of 2007 the station added an additional newscast weekdays from 8-9AM. The station’s syndicated programming includes The Big Bang Theory, Harry, Family Feud, Two and a Half Men, The Simpsons, . FOX 66 debuted the markets first ever HD digital broadcast signal in December 2007.
