For over 60 years, WKRN has served the residents of middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky. With its strong commitment to coverage of local news that impacts the region, NEWS 2 covers news for 58 counties, one of the largest DMA’s by county count, in the country. WKRN is an ABC affiliate and is heavily invested in local news, producing 38 hours a week of local programming. NEWS 2 works in partnership with the NFL to produce Tennessee Titans pre-season games each year as well as the highly popular Titans on 2 head coach’s show. NEWS 2 also enjoys a strong partnership with the Country Music Association based in Nashville and produces a live Red Carpet special for each CMA Awards show. WKRN has won dozens of industry awards over the years for its high quality programming as well as service to the community.
