Station Profile

WTTV is the second-oldest television station in Indiana, signing on in November 1949, and became Indianapolis’ CBS affiliate on January 1, 2015. Today, CBS4 is Indy’s #3 station, airing 25 hours of local news each week.

CBS4 News excels with the most experienced evening news anchors in Central Indiana, and the longest-tenured sports department covering the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Pacers, minor league baseball, hockey and soccer, and multiple D1 NCAA colleges. CBS4 is the Home of the Indianapolis Colts and carries more Colts games than any other station. With the combined power of the AFC Football package and the station’s exclusive media partnership, including the locally-produced Colts Blue Zone and Colts 365, CBS4 is Central Indiana’s destination for all things Blue and White.

CBS4 is a dedicated advocate for strong communities and the fight to feed the hungry in our neighborhoods. Every year, CBS4 joins sister station FOX59 to Pack the Pantries, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to help battle food insecurity in the community. CBS4 is the proud recipient of multiple Indianapolis Broadcasters Association Cardinal Awards for Community Service, including a recognition for their extensive coverage of the COVD19 pandemic, with daily content, weekly specials and four virtual town halls.

With unparalleled news, sports, entertainment programming, community involvement and customer service, clients choose CBS4 to reach audiences and drive business.
