Nexstar Broadcasting Group purchased KGCW a CW affiliate, from Grant Communications on December 1, 2014. KGCW is branded as the Quad Cities’ CW. This youthful network is home to such proven hit shows as Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, as well as new shows that have everyone talking – DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Supernatural.

KGCW also airs coach’s shows for the Green Bay Packers, The University of Iowa Hawkeyes (football and basketball) and Iowa State University Cyclones (football and basketball) and a weekly Minnesota Vikings highlight show.
